License

Just Captions gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the App Store terms.

Your Content

You are responsible for the videos, audio, captions, edits, exports, and other content you import, create, save, or share.

Only use the app with content you own or have permission to process, caption, translate, export, and publish.

Caption Results

Automatic captions, AI corrections, language detection, timing, and translation can contain mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting captions before relying on them.

The app is not intended for legal, medical, safety-critical, or other high-stakes transcription use.

Pro Purchases

Just Captions Pro can unlock features such as watermark removal, higher limits, animated caption styles, higher export quality, and 600 AI caption minutes per month for AI Correct and AI Translate.

Free AI use is limited, including a daily AI edit allowance and a maximum caption duration for free AI requests. Pro AI usage is subject to the monthly AI minute cap shown in the app. Future high-volume, cloud, or credit-based AI features may require separate add-ons.

Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings.

Reliability and Backups

Caption generation and export depend on iOS media frameworks, device storage, source-file compatibility, and speech model availability. Some videos may not import, transcribe, export, save, or share successfully.

Always verify exported videos before deleting originals. The app is provided as is, to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Acceptable Use

• Do not use the app to violate copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Do not use the app to create or distribute unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive content.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app beyond what Apple platform terms allow.
