Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 14, 2026

Audio Compressor is designed for on-device audio compression, conversion, splitting, speed changes, and video-to-audio extraction. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

Media Processing

Audio Compressor processes selected audio files and selected videos locally on your device. Your media files are not uploaded to Audio Compressor servers, and Audio Compressor does not operate a media-processing backend.

The app only works with files and videos you choose through Apple’s file picker and photo picker interfaces. You can manage or revoke photo library permissions in iOS Settings at any time.

Data We Do Not Collect

Audio Compressor does not create user accounts and does not intentionally collect:

Local App Data

Audio Compressor may store app preferences and recent import history on your device so the app can remember settings and show recent activity. This information stays in the app’s local storage and is removed when you delete the app, subject to normal iOS behavior.

Exported files that you save or share remain wherever you choose to store them until you delete them.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Audio Compressor receives entitlement information needed to unlock paid features, but payment details are handled by Apple.

Diagnostics

Apple may provide developers with aggregated crash reports, performance information, and App Store analytics. These reports are used to improve reliability and do not include your selected media files.

Third Parties

Audio Compressor uses Apple frameworks such as Files, PhotosUI, AVFoundation, and StoreKit to provide app features. Apple processes information according to Apple’s own privacy policies.

Changes

This policy may be updated when Audio Compressor changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
