Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 14, 2026

Video Compressor is designed for on-device video, photo, speed, and audio processing. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

Media Processing

Video Compressor processes selected videos and photos locally on your device. Your media files are not uploaded to Video Compressor servers, and Video Compressor does not operate a media-processing backend.

The app only works with media you choose through Apple’s photo and file picker interfaces. You can manage or revoke photo library permissions in iOS Settings at any time.

Data We Do Not Collect

Video Compressor does not create user accounts and does not intentionally collect:

Local App Data

Video Compressor may store app preferences and recent compression history on your device so the app can remember settings and show recent activity. This information stays in the app’s local storage and is removed when you delete the app, subject to normal iOS behavior.

Exported media that you save to Photos remains in your photo library until you delete it.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Video Compressor receives entitlement information needed to unlock paid features, but payment details are handled by Apple.

Diagnostics

Apple may provide developers with aggregated crash reports, performance information, and App Store analytics. These reports are used to improve reliability and do not include your selected media files.

Third Parties

Video Compressor uses Apple frameworks such as Photos, PhotosUI, AVFoundation, and StoreKit to provide app features. Apple processes information according to Apple’s own privacy policies.

Changes

This policy may be updated when Video Compressor changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
